Aisling Quinn previews debut album!

Associate Artist of Bluepatch, Aisling Quinn previews her debut album “Let the Games begin”, showcasing songs which are a quirky and energetic infusion of  jazz, pop, folk and blues.

The album is the follow-up to Aisling’s EP A Simple Arrangement which prompted Jackie Hayden to give Quinn his “Pick of the Fortnight” accolade in Hot Press, adding “Aisling Quinn has a delicious voice… She knows how to marry attractive melodies with intelligent lyrics to create songs of real substance”.

Aisling Quinn is a regular collaborator and composer for Bluepatch. She has composed the original music for The Clean House (The New Theatre) Portia Coughlan (The New Theatre) and Medea Redux (Smock Alley, Galway Theatre Festival, Bodytonicmusics’s Bernard Shaw) which she also performed in. In 2009 Aisling supported Albert Niland and Rosey on their respective Irish tours and in 2010 she was a semi-finalist at the International Songwriting Competition.
